Health Care- Health care is available for you and your family through Blue Cross/Blue Shield which has an extensive network of doctors and hospitals throughout the United States. You have a choice between PPO and HSA.
Health Savings Account (HSA) - You can save pre-tax dollars in a Health Savings Account to pay for your deductible and other qualified expenses.
Dental- Dental is provided through Met Life and includes 100% paid preventative care every six months, 80% for fillings and 50% for crowns. Coverage includes orthodontia and pays up to $2,000.00 per year for all covered services.

Our services are inclusive of environmental consulting and engineering services, demilitarization, radiological services, construction management as well as munitions and explosives (MEC) remediation.
Job Description:
The main function of this position will be to ensure the safety and health of Company personnel and ensure project compliance for various environmental remediation and decommissioning and demolition projects. Position will be based out of the corporate office in Stafford, TX, and will include extensive travel (domestic and international) to our various job sites. Candidate shall embrace the Company\'s safety first attitude and promote safety and health as core values. The successful candidate will be skilled in the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of potentially unsafe acts and conditions and will develop corrective actions to promote an accident-free work environment. Some duties will include: (1) acting as the primary project resource for safety and health issues affecting on-site personnel, the environment and the public; (2) Participating in project planning sessions to ensure compliance with the site-specific health and safety plan (SSHP) and corporate policies; (3) Interfacing and following guidance from the Corporate Health and Safety Director, and conveying requirements to field personnel; (4) Maintaining company policy in relation to compliance, risk reduction and promotion of accident-free project performance and (5) Ensuring proper communication of safety and health issues to project personnel and performing OSHA and project-specific training.
Experience:
- An Associates or Bachelors degree in occupational and environmental safety and health (or similar).
Board Certified as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- A minimum of three years of related experience in occupational safety and health.
- Experience/knowledge of OSHA regulations related to hazardous waste remediation, D&D, and construction (experience with DOE, USACE regulations is a plus)

GEOPHYSICIST (POSTED 11/28/11)
PIKA International, Inc. is seeking a well qualified candidate Geophysics candidate to support various munitions response projects across the United States. US Citizen required. You will be based at the corporate office in Stafford, TX, with some travel to job sites. This position will start after the holidays. Prefer local candidate but will consider relocation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience performing geophysical investigations in support of the munitions response and other environmental programs such as CERCLA and RCRA.
This position will be responsible for working with established project teams involving multi-faceted and integrated unexploded ordinance related disciplines. The candidate will work on the development of geophysical approaches for munitions response projects; collection, processing, and interpretation of geophysical data; oversight of geophysical subcontractors and QC of data collected by subcontractors; development and implementation of work plans; and writing project reports. Must have experience completing work within project budgets and schedules; effectively communicating with internal team members, external clients, and regulatory agencies; and must be self-motivated and capable of executing projects with limited guidance. Excellent communication skills are a must.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Five plus years of related experience;
Experienced with EM61-MK2 and magnetometer data collection and/or data processing;
Experience working on Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP), including a familiarity with requirements contained in USACE guidance documents and Data Item Descriptions;
Masters degree in geophysics or closely related field preferred;
Experienced using various GPS units (e.g., RTK DGPS and Trimble GeoXT/GeoXH) to collect geospatial data;
Expert (or at least experienced) with any to all of these programs: DAT61, Geosoft Oasis Montaj, Visual Sample Plan (VSP), ArcGIS, Trimble Pathfinder Office, and the MS Office Suite (including MS Access and MS Project);
Familiarity with some to all of the following geophysical methods, including gravity, Induced Polarization/Resistivity, time domain electromagnetic, frequency domain electromagnetic, seismic, ground penetrating radar, gravity and borehole geophysics;
Current OSHA Hazwoper Certification. OSHA Physical and drug test will be given.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare investigation work plans and reports; and
Geologic and hydrogeologic interpretation experience is a plus.
